I am looking for a program that can read US Tiger files from 2000 and show UTM Co-ordinates based on where the mouse pointer is. I want the program to allow me to place a marker on the map and than allow me to type in the UTM Coordinates and than save the new map as a bitmap or JPEG image. I would settle for DRG maps from the USGS. 2 important functionalities are necessary One, I can edit my map in Adobe Photoshop and two quickly GeoReference the map in Transdem. Older USGS maps are usable as long as I can edit the map and fill in any rail lines that have been abandoned on them and notate on a pointer exact UTM co-ordinates should Transdem not be able to automatically and directly read the raster map.
