While browsing Railpictures.net, I came across this picture. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=324739&nseq=351 I thought of how cool it would be to see this in Trainz. A front end loader is used to pull the turntable in real life, and I imagine that the loader, could be modeled as part of the spinning part of the table. Maybe it could even have wheels that turn, and/or smoke.

That's one way to do that. You could also put an invisible track around the outside with a front-end "locomotive" pulling the turntable. This means other equipment could be used in addition to just a front-end loader.
