Afternoon all. Boy do I have some exciting news.


As some of you know, I decided to shut down Michigan Rail Industries a few months ago because of issues in the community as well as the narrowness of the content we could create and the traffic we could bring in. In April, I decided to breathe new life into the old site, and have come up with a whole new concept:

Make it national.

Yes, that's right. The new site, United States Rail, will be officially released to the communities eye this Thursday, June 11th, 2014 at 12:00 PM EST. A new project is listed as well as well needed updates to how exactly the whole site works. Unfortunately, we have no new downloads (which, do not worry, we will fix. Patience is appreciated) when we release the site, so we ask that no one strike us down before we get a chance to prove ourselves. Please, if you have any comments or suggestions, make sure it is constructive and not rude, and if you have an issue with this, then just ignore it. We're not asking for everyone to like us. We just want to provide content to the community.

Only membership is for our forums, which are still in the early stages of transition from MIRI to USR. I'm trying to create a new mod list as well as figure out some other things. However I have been looking into the idea of payware and having membership-only access to that, but that will require me to buy a domain as well as upgrade Weebly, something I cannot do at this time because (being a freshman in HS) I do not have a job. Once I have a steady stream of income, I will again assess the option.


@9000DOLLAR: Reskinning is something that I'm slowly learning, however I --might-- have a friend that can help me out with that since JR's F7s can be freely reskinned.

Afternoon all.

I am having trouble with my internet so I'm posting from my phone. Something is going on with ALL of my internet browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox) and I cannot access Weebly to publish the site. I do not know when the issue will be fixed so I will have to postpone the release. I'm sorry for the delay but I had no way of knowing this would happen.

EDIT: Internet is working again. Just a few moments now.

Please please PLEASE note that not everything is finished on the main site, the USR DLS, and the USR forums. The USR DLS and USR Forums are still in early stages of the transition from MIRI to USR.
