The T:ANE and up versions of Settle and Carlisle appear to be missing a session, and I'm not sure how to access it.

I'll try to be as brief as I can in the telling of this.

Basically, a while back, I imported over the standalone game version on Steam of Trainz Settle & Carlisle's content (running on a TS10 build) to my install of Trainz 22, for which I already owned the latest version of the S&C DLC.

While doing so, I noticed one asset had been installed which I did not own the latest version of: <kuid2:368725:100027:5>, a session called "Helwith Bridge shunt (Ride)". Its latest shown version, <kuid2:368725:100027:9>, was marked as 'Not installed, Payware (Not Active)', and had a 4.3 Trainz-build no. I looked up on Settle & Carlisle's official site and confirmed it was a session from SnC. Logically, I then assumed that session must instead be a part of the T:ANE version of the DLC and was simply not updated for 22. So I bought the T:ANE version of the DLC on Steam, installed it in there t and... nothing, it was also not included on that package, despite what the website stated.

I then reached out to N3V's support and was informed that, because the package was quite old, they no longer have any details as to why it wasn't included in there, and that I should instead the original makers of said content. Though, to no one's surprise, the contact form on the S&C website is really, really old and no longer maintained.

So now I'm resorting to asking about it here: if the latest version of the session asset is acknowledged by the database in order to be listed as "Not installed, Payware (not active)" then surely it must be included in SOME other package... right? What should I do in order to finally get to access that session? Maybe someone in here will be able to assist me with that...

The latest update does not include any new content and was, from what I can tell, updates for fixes that I can't seem to find.

You mean the latest update for the session or for the DLC? I'm a bit confused. The issue here is that the DLC does not include its respective version of a session that should be included in it, and it's therefore showing up for me as a non-active Payware asset

In general, there were content updates to the SnC route and sessions. When a package has been updated, the previous version is now marked as in-active.

You'll have to find out who the author or authors are for the route and sessions. I can't remember offhand who they are, but I think they are still active in Trainz and have posted here in the forums. Since they're active in the forums, send one of them, or all of them a PM or DM and find out what happened. It may have been their choice not to include that session.

Is it possible to download the original session and update the map KUID? Or would it be too incompatible?
It might be possible. The route is an old DLC route that came on CD for TS2009 and could be installed standalone with a runtime TS2009 version or installed into TS2009 - TS12.

The routes and sessions are in .JA archive files and will need to be extracted from them before they're imported.
It's not that difficult, but it can be time consuming and annoying.
