The RUPTURE Is comming !

Here's one for you...People believe HAARP is doing this. They are also saying that HAARP caused the Tuscaloosa Tornado, The Flooding/fires/drought and caused the Joplin Tornado yesterday....And that they are soon going to open up the new Madrid fault in the middle of the country. Prayers for those in Joplin.

Yeah - the new madrid fault slipping would be a baddie. Last time it did was in the early 1800's so few folks or infrastructure were in the area (and it consisted of at least three magntude 8.0 or greater quakes and hundereds of aftershocks). Now days with all the cities that would be effected (none of whom have structures designed for earthquakes) it would be really bad. Worse is the underlying rock structure aids the transmission of the shockwaves.

yeah, I know about the rock. There was a show on History last week or so about what MIGHT happen if the madrid fault opens. The one in the 1800's was rumored to have gone all the way into Boston, and awoken Andrew Jackson. Pretty Powerful stuff

I wouldn't be afraid of the New Madrid fault going off. Geologist say it will be very rare to have a 8.0 or greater, but we could have smaller earthquakes but I doubt that would be less likely it will go off. The 1812 earthquake happened because of the ice retreating from the last Ice Age and all the tension of the ice on the land had to go somewhere and that is why the earthquake of 1812 happend and was so massive. I would worry about living out in the western half of the United States than anywhere else guys.

I think I saw that program on the New Madrid fault. Minor earthquakes have been occuring more frequently of late.

Even Great Britain gets earthquakes from the ground rebounding from the weight of the last ice age ice sheets.

What happened recently in Japan could also happen in the Northwest due to the Cascadia fault. Same type of fault. Pacific plate diving underneath the North American Plate (instead of the Asian or Japaneese plate).

Seems no matter where you live you are subject to something (hurricanes for me). I guess the best place to live is at the south pole. Weather never changes and every direction is north, lol.

I have a screen name of cascaderailroad, for several reasons.

All the letters in cascade, are close together on the keyboard, and easy for a 2 finger typist 2 type.:hehe:

The Cascade Range is a receintly active, 25 mountain, volcanic mountain chain, that in some barren places the jagged terrain looks like the face of a distant volcanic planet like Mars.

http://vulcan.wr.usgs.gov/Volcanoes/Cascades/ImageMaps/CascadeRange/cascade_range.html

Alaska has 23 active volcanos, and Icelands volcano went off for a second time ... disrupting air traffic because of a smoke and ash plume extending up into the Earth's stratosphere.

Mount St Hellens went off and obliterated a small (huge) area. The Yellowstone National Park is a huge caldron of magma that is ready to blow at any time, and if it goes, all the worlds cliamate will be indesputedly destroyed.

It could come tomorrow ... or it could come 200, to 2000 years from now.

But to sit around and worry about things that can not be averted is rediculous.

Until then ... I will be building in Trainz

Very nice Ben! That was very funny! But I have to worry about being buried in 8 feet of snow every year, and a chance of getting wipped out by a tornado everyday with this kind of weather lately.

Maybe Obama will get stuck in Ireland for a while, lol!

True he is a quack. It's the 23rd, nothing happened. Checked his site and I couldn't it was down. Guy is probably getting laughed at right now. I believe he did that in 94 too.

As I said above - more likely he is sitting somewhere nice sipping pina coladas surrounded by nubile beauties in string bikinis (or less if he is lucky and with that much $$$ he just might be) and laughing his butt off at all the sheep he fleeced (and probably us as well).

Gotta agree that it accomplishes nothing to sit around and worry about that which can not be controlled. The Russian people have some interesting sayings. "That which can not be cured must be endured" and
"Be careful what you ask for - you might get it". Some can be prepared for of course. Tornado shelters, hurricane shutters (I have them to the tune of $12,000 quite some years ago), emergency generators (6500 watt Honda in my case), emergency food (MRE's - ugh), water (but we can always get it out of the pool for flushing the toilet), 50 gals of gas for the generator, building your house to survive an earthquake, etc. Some years ago we had 3 hurricanes go right over our house within 13 months. Francis, Jeanne, and Wilma. Back side of Wilma was the worst. Lost a 50 year old pine tree in the front yard. Missed the house by a foot or two. Wore out 3 chain saw blades (and my back) chopping it up and lugging it to the street for pickup. Not fun. Got tired of sleeping in the laundry room (all 4 walls are poured concrete and downstairs), etc. Our safe room.

Big problem down here with Wilma was very very few gas stations had emergency generators (required now of course). They had gas but couldn't pump it.

South Pole starting to sound better and better. Never run out of ice for my burbon-n-water (but burbon might be a problem and I might have to chew the ice, lol).

Its really all about $$$ and power. It wasn't originally that way of course but to my way of thinking adherents of those faiths have allowed the clergy to take over and won't say enough is enough - get back to religeon. I have absolutely no respect for some televangelist makeing gazillions a year, living in the lap of luxury on the donations of elderly folks on fixed (and too damn small) incomes. They will send him money rather then buy food or medicine and the televangelist will not only accept it but immediately ask for more.

I absolutely respect the country preacher who after passing the collection plate finds a dozen eggs inside and similar items cuz his flock simply doesn't have money. He is a man of God - the others are scam artists.

Why are all properties owned by a church tax free? The actual Church, Tabernacle, Synagogue, Mosque, etc - yes - everything else - no. Why should one own a high-rise in NYC tax free? They aren't holding services within so it should be taxed. Religon has devolved into big business. Remember that old R&R song (buying a stairway to heaven)? Its alive and well in the USA for sure.

Ben, Politics my man politics! Why does jimmy swaggert,s liberty university get 420 million from the govt every year. That could pay for most of medicare but we don't here word one about cutting that -Politics! Speaking of rapture, or is it rupture, have you ever opened your bike up, that thing has to weigh as much as an SD70 ACE, did you build it? I got my BMW up to 120 before chickening out.

Dunno about you all, but I was raptured- sitting here at God's right hand and everything.
Can you believe that we get wi-fi up here? The connection isn't great, but it works. Some of the archangels don't seem to approve of the idea of people posting on forums back on earth from heaven, but if they were really serious about it, it wouldn't be so easy to get around the firewall- all I had to do was log in through a proxy. Gotta go now; I think Saint Peter is on Netflix again, and God knows that's gonna bring the network to a crawl.

Do they have a McDonalds? KFC? Wendys?

Have fun.... please say HI to my friends.:)

How many of you live in an area that is infested with the brown marmorated stinkbug ? In PA, NJ, DE, NY alone up to @ 50% of the crops are being thrown out due to the stinkbug drilling holes and sucking on the fruit and vegitables. It was said by the author of an article: "If a mad scientist geneticly mutated a bug to target and attack crops, and deliberately released this same devistating bug all over a Country, it would be like a terrorist attack, unleashing the bug from hell".

If insects ruined all our crops for one year ... we would have no grain to feed our livestock, whch would mean no burgers, no hotdawgs, no chickens, no corn, no rice, no wheat, no nothing and worldwide starvaton would follow within that year.

There is no pesticide that kills them, no trap that lures them, and the parasitic wasp that is in total experimentation process (ten years away) also may have it's own set of infestation on our food chain.

So we are not out of the woods yet.

Just because it dint' happen on a particular day on the calendar, doesn't mean the demise of us is not directly at hand.

And most probably the brown marmorated stinkbug was transported by rail in a shipping container, from the far east, to Allentown Pa in 1987 ... now it has reached an epidemic infestation.

Are there stinkbugs in Europe and Australia also ? ? ?
