Hi Gerns, All Colonists, etc

You are welcome ---

Thanks, but it's ok, Gerns since Babylon pictures can be found across the net!

@ ALL -- Will update the blog in the next few days , etc with some goodies -- I have been uploading in small patches, etc ... will total over 80 if I am not mistaken, focusing on rolling stocks, etc plus some goodies from friends!

Sounds like a fun adventure Ish. I'll sign up to be one of your colonists to the new worlds. Maybe some of these worlds will be a little cold and we'll need a little smog to get the greenhouse effect going to warm it up. What better smog making machine than a steam loco burning some kind of coal like substance.

a jump gate like in babylon 5 would make interstellar travel easy to justify between worlds and asteroids

Good Morning Gerns,

No jump gate, sorry --- Although all this is scific, I still like to keep a bit of realistic to it -- I think it feels more realstic hopping onto a galaxy size ship and taken it off ---

Also, let me add, no light speed here Guyz, since that's impossibility for humanity, so we must stay within certain parameters, similiar to how folks traveled in the movies Avatar and Aliens ... that type of setting is more realistic then jumping through gates or lightspeed I feel!

Also, yes, Gerns ... Coal will be a major factor in these other worlds, including Marsz -- I just have not gotten to it just yet -- As you can see I have made huge hoppers that will load, only my product since it's 92ft long product and not sure if anyone has done that and upload to the LDS --- In other worlds, we will began huge mining operations on a grand scale --- Thanks to Ben for creating the tools, and now I just need to place those tools on huge platforms to cut through rocks, etc

@ALL -- Lastly, if you have any mineral, etc that you would like to see as a product, and if you wish to see that product load onto my 92ft hopper just leave suggestion on blog or PM!!!

Have a great day all --

Good Hrm.

The whole idea is about settings -- we can have snowy worlds, or desert worlds, and still use the Marsz items on those worlds to established bases and installations --- In a sense, we are getting out of the Marsz settings and backgrounds -- In fact, we can even find Earth-like planets, and have a Jurassic feel to it like with lots of trees, and dinosaurs settings since Arraial made a few of these Dino's, etc ... Also, using backdrops or backboards can really confine boards and make it look dense with trees, etc ... and have rails through it, etc! And since huge galaxy ships can transport anything, you can have basically anything on these worlds!

Have a great day!

@ALL -- Saturdays and Sundays are my family day -- I have two Little's, so we go to Malls, playgrounds, Museum, Beach, Swimming pool -- all depends on our mood!!!

good for you ,time is to short and the family slips away before you know it. below is my jump gate , before you say no no no let me explain, on my moon edge i'm putting a jump gate to explain the short trip to mars which i'm building on the moon layout and can add more to other astroids or planets,i'm going to cutback the size of the moon to allow more room for those additions, from what i have read a 1700 hundred square layout is manageable for a good computer . your input would be greatly appreciated as always

i see a problem with more then one planet with different atmospheres and that is the skies . your great moon sky and mars sky , well so much for that idea- darn-- that and finding a tunnel big enough to let a eagle pass though, and i'm still trying to figure out how to adjust the height of the blue lines' hope you have had a better weekend:)

Good Afternoon Gern,

Althought I am not a big fan of jump gates at this time, perhaps in the future I'll explore the idea when I finally reach other worlds, etc: however, I can still make a jump gate for your use for your layout -- I am going to assume that you still have my e-mail since I e-mail you a couple of times, so send me pictures of any specific jump gate, and I'll let you know if it's possible to do, etc -- If not, I can always create something from my own imagination! Please let me know at your own time! LOL

Take care
Ishie

please do . i was hoping to be able to have a ship leave the moon and arrive at mars without flying around for a year to get their and i thought a jump gate would be a good way to explain it . but without a tunnel big enough to fly through its not working out well .

by the way i'm getting your e-mail just fine, but i'm not able to send anything out , theirs something wrong at my end that's why i'm replying to you here.

Sound Good Gerns -- You might have some restrictions sending e-mails or replies, I am guessing --- You can always PM here in the forum!!

Anyhow, take care ---
