Hi Don

Truly a work of art on those units. I dl'd the signals and coronas, but don't see the track or switches at the DLS, have they been uploaded. If so what trainz build are they for.

I have two versions of trainz12, installed 49922 for legacy content, and trainz12 SP1 w/hot Fix 1 & 2 for multiplayer only.

Thanks Logman, The track is next out. I think today. I have a nother signal to post and track bumper. I'm not happy with the switches. Need a little more time to play with them... So have you trayed the "M" train out in notch 8 yet? Speed of sound on flat ground. Not 95 like I said before. So don't reskin anything yet. I what beta testing. Look em over good for fixs. Most of all. Enjoy Don49plm.

Thanks for the reply - no need to rush anything out until you are pleased with the outcome.

I have planned to test the M Train out today - however the passenger car shows 1 unknown kuid -25:144.

25:144 is an Aurun engine sound called "electric" build 1.3. you should have it. It's in all of the units. Shouldn't be misssing out of just one. Don

Thanks for the insight - Upon looking into this further this is what I discovered:

Content manager build 3.6 shows, electric is kuid -1:42003002 build Trainz Svc Pack 3 (build 1.3) and available on the DLS, however kuid -25:144 does not show up as installed.

Content manager build 3.7 shows, electric is kuid -25:144 (Trainz Svc Pack 3 (build 1.3) not available on the DLS.

My fix saved -25:144 to cdp and installed into content manager 3.6, result kuid -1:42003002 is now obsolete and kuid -25:144 shows as installed. no more missing dependancies.

Great, Now go build your self a piece of track about 100 mile long and see what it well do. Does Mars have a speed of sound? I don't know.

N3V has released their TS12 SP1 3 Hotfix

I am yet to do this as I do not see in the list fixing the crash after committing issue I had with SP1!

Good Morning All -- Thanks Don, family had a great time! My little one's loved the water parks as they always do --- I think, perhaps, they were fish in some other life - LOL ... I finally upgraded to windows 8 from windows 7 --- there's a learning curbe, but always is with Microsoft --- At first cannot get into the pc since it said my account was disappear -- just a pain --- thank goodness I have multiple pcs so had to jump through hoops to get windows 8 -- anyone ever has issue just hold the shift key while you restart and the windows 8 screen will give you options to fix anything -- had to launch in safe mode and reset the password -- again, a pain everything a new OS comes out! Well, guys that's was my week!!! Everyone take care now! And Don, thanks for these awesome goodies of yours! Ishie ---- PS Not sure why the enter for skip to the next line is not working here, on the blog -- strange!!!

The way I made it is you need to build the switch in inviso track and &#8220;yard&#8221; track then push and pull the track ends to fit switch machine spending as much as 10 min. on each switch. Don&#8217;t want to spend that much time on each switch and then go back and change something and do it all over. So back to the drawing board and this is what I made. The MARSZ-D Switch Base RH mk2 (in picture 1) and the MARSZ-D Switch Track RH mk2 using MARSZ-D using MARSZ-D T1 Invisible Track (R). As of writing this I only have the right hand in testing but so far so good. I&#8217;ll Tell you more later. Don49plm singing off.

Good Morning Don --- Thanks for the heads-up on your switches there!!! PS. @ALL -- Not sure why I cannot skip lines now when I type in the blog windows -- need to investigate this further. All began when I updated the OS to windows 8! Everyone have a pleasant Sunday!!!
 
Hello Marsz-lings,
First, I would like to tell you about the new items on the DSL. Here it is, the missing car. The M4a Power Unit. This unit is meant to be the main power core and permanently coupled to the M3 unit making the two the supplier of all the power and life support for the train so always have 2 sets per train. One running and one on standby (pic 1).
Second, the M20 100ft Ore Unit. The Ore Unit is setup to hall four types of ore being coal. Iron ore, Limestone aggregate, and sand and gravel mix that I&#8217;m going to use as road bed (pic 2). Oh thing, I hope you aren&#8217;t re-skinning the &#8220;M&#8221; train yet because there is still all beta testing and I would like to hear about anything that should be changed or improved, please.

Next is some invisible track. I wonted some inviso track that was taller than the maglev track to use in my all new, soon the release MARSZ-D Switch system. Just what to say the first switch I put out was no good and I should have tested it more. Now that the Carelton Rapids has landed on MARSZ and is laying track. Well it sucked. So I made a all new two piece system that is easy to use and "near" fool proof. (pic3, 4) Notice the holographic switch state indicator. When there on the DSL I well post instructions for them. I&#8217;m just about finish testing. Maybe a day or two more but so far I&#8217;m very happy with the way they work.


Last are some track speed sighs that are painted on the top of the track. Well that&#8217;s it for now. Again sorry about that switch. Just wait, the new one is out standing!

Don, very impressive works that you have there, sir! -- Whenever I get out of this funk I am in now I will contruct structures around your items, same color and theme's, if I may!
If I may suggest, how about a flatbed (both non and Industry enable) to add to your collection! Also, have you consider having your train cars run on rails in the future? Having them both maglev and rail increase there usability.

Thank you very much Ish. And yes you may! The buildings I could use help with in a large space port. About a flat car. Have you seen my MARSZ-D M6 Container Unit <KUID:387111:100902>. It's like a flat car. At this time it only holds my containers but that can be changed if you want. A true flat car is in the works for driving equipment up a ramp onto the car. The ramp is in the works too. As fare as different rails. The next place I'm going is high speed monorail to move peolpe to the space port from Midway Station. I do plan on using rail when I start making my steel mill and Mar-creek plant. And I just posted my switch set. Thanks again Don
