The magic 10,000.

Congratulations reaching into the skies Ed. :)

Now if you think that number in feet you are higher up then Trainz would allow you to go up or down in meters - that is a great border to break as it helps to show the limit in height in Trainz can be reached in many ways, just hope it has not broken you yet.

Love your humor, no need to do a Viking visit to you. LOL

Take care and best wishes from Norway

I haven't been around much in the last few days, but just wanted to send a big 'Hoorah' to you. Your assistance and wittisisms have been invaluable to me and the community.

Hi Ed: It's neat when you reach a goal like you have..You have helped so many people in your tenure..I hope it will continue for along time..Congradulations..I hope that I too can achieve this..Thank you for the help you have given me..

Almost missed this party. A belated congratulations. Sort of reminds me of the old adage: those who can - do, those who can't - ... .

Congratulations, Ed. I slept right through the fireworks and steam whistles. I bet it is a slight anti-climax, now it is rather like having to start all over again.

I thank each one of you that was kind enough to express encouragement and appreciation of the milestone. It's not much to cling too, as milestones go, but it's what I have.:D

I assume most of you are familiar with the movie "127 Hours", where the handsome, vital, athletic young man has to cut off his own arm to escape being pinned by a boulder? I've often joked with my friends that I could make the same movie about an ugly, ruined, fat old man (like myself) who is struggling to reach the remote control while wedged into the couch cushions...

Anyway, it's my theory that those overachievers we often read about who climb mountains with missing limbs, or sail around the globe while blind, or run across a nation while dragging a dialysis unit are heroic and noble, but have sucked the life energy out of the rest of us underachievers who sit at computers day after day. That's right, I blame them!

Well 10000 was my mountain, and for a brief moment, I felt like I had accomplished something...ANYTHING!:D

Thanks again.

By the way, I passed Spooney's pack on the way up here, I don't know if he fell, wandered off in a storm, or just got lost...:hehe:

I don't think you've reached the summit yet, Ed. You're just high up on the mountain at a milestone. With around 30 posts (10 of them saying that you reported a spam post, one for each of the spammer's posts :p) having been added to your post count within a short amount of time since you reached 10,000, I'd say you're on your way working toward the next milestone: 15,000. ;)

I'm sorry that I offended you, Ed. I didn't realize that my post would, but now I do. :(

I'm not offended, reaching the summit is the easy part, most climbers die on the way down. If I make it back to base camp, then I'll consider that 15,000!

Now, don't be sad Zachary; I don't take it that seriously!:p

Congratulations on that milestone, You can always tell the helpful people by how they judge their own quality of life. Now its time to live your life to the fullest. :)

Ed, what would you have done if you got to 9999 and then the counter defaulted back to 1 and every one started calling you a newbie? :hehe:

Well Done Ed,
Good health to you.
Your a star act... Your banter always make me smile.
