Could anyone explain to me what this asset is about.

AAAAAA! Real trains,<kuid:414773:100001> It is authored by Auran so it must have some importance but it is hard to work out from the thumbnail. The description given above in the title does not give anything away.

Its actually authored by GPavlich, who is one of several uploaders who are uploading what appears to be trivial, childish rubbish. I don't know if this is because they are very young and have perhaps yet to learn what is really required. My alternative conspiracy theory is that they are trying to sabotage Trainz by uploading this trivia.

the kuid is a kind "scenery" asset presumably a mesh library which contains mesh-asset 47439:29000 Traffic - Model A Pickup by Sirgibby used in Murchison 2 2009 hi detail.
As I have Murchison2 addon both these are builtins. Neither builtin has a thumbnail.

What the AAAAAA! Real Trains refers to I don't know.

GPavlich actually works for N3V. perhaps these are test items you were not meant to see.

Cough.... As a recently retired beta tester a couple of months back, I can vouch for GPavlich, he is who he says he is. If you look at the build number for the route which is 3.7 that indicates it's probably from a beta, so probably they are testing uploading is working, could have made a better subject choice though. I'd suggest let this one pass rather than make an issue out of it.

I can also vouch for Mr GPavlich. He is N3V staff so if it appears that the asset is "rubbish", it could possibly be just a test asset or similar. I do not know personally but one can only assume.

Sorry for the confusion, it is indeed a test asset I was using to check asset uploading. The fact that it's uploaded is a good thing, the fact that everyone can see it is not such a good thing. I'm afraid I can't say anything more than that at this stage. Regardless, we'll be cleaning this asset up later and out of the DLS later.

I'll try and make the content a little more serious in the future.

I apologise profusely to GPavlich and completely withdraw my comment about him. However it still seems to hold for some of the other trivial uploads that have appeared lately unless they too are accidentally uploaded trial pieces.

This could be timing too considering some of the less than stellar content we've seen lately on the DLS. This asset, in particularly because of the name, triggered another red flag on the community's part.

i do not think that is related, that would be the trainz-build not the obsolete system.

The fact that it's uploaded is a good thing, the fact that everyone can see it is not such a good thing.

but in reality, i cant see or search for this asset or see any others that appear to be test items, so it must not be having an effect across the board.
