The Frisco High Line

Thanks BNSF50

Thanks to BNSF50 for these amazing, highly detailed, SLSF crossing bucks. They are designed from actual Frisco plans of the early 1950's. If you search long enough some of these crossing bucks are still around today.

Awsome Route!

dricketts,

I have been watching the progress of this route lately and I have to say, This is probably the best route I have seen. The details of the route is compleatly steller! Please Keep It Up. I really wish I had the creativeness that you possess for my routes. You just nailed it in all categories. Thanks for sharing us your amazing work. I cannot wait until the route is released

is this fictional scheme?

If you're referring to black and yellow paint scheme, no it's not. http://condrenrails.com/Frisco/Frisco_PaintShop_Road_Freight_Units.htm

Prior to the orange and white colors the Frisco used the black and yellow. I believe they slowly started changing in the mid 1960's.

Nice skin there, N8. Dricketts, this route is looking superb.

I appreciate that motorbreath. The route wouldn't be the same without your high res textures.

Frisco #19

I caught SLSF #19 while fishing at a farm pond just outside Flemington, Mo. (Thanks to Chris N8PHU for this great F7 skin).

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I hope to post some new screen shots soon. I've been reworking the grade on a section of the route that hasn't been touched yet except for track and bridges.

Call me crazy but getting the grade just right when following DEM created terrain is just not near as fun as adding textures and scenery details...

A rare sight on the High Line. Two SD45's pulling a string of loaded hoppers on the way to Springfield, Mo. For some reason the line through Fort Scott, KS wasn't available today.

You can barely see them in the distance on the other side of Hwy 13, just south of Vista, Mo.
