The fluidity and efficiency of TRS22 vs TRS19

Hi,

I started this post because I would like each of you to leave your feedback on the smoothness and performance to the previous versions and especially the TRS19
To create a kind of statistics in the opinion of people here, which will show which trainz in terms of efficiency and liquidity is better and any justification is welcome

best regards
Sebastian

I have Trainz Plus (a.k.a TRS22 on steroids) and can offer an opinion on the comparison between TRS19 and Trainz Plus.

The biggest advantage I have noticed when using Surveyor 2.0 in Trainz Plus is not having to constantly change menus (Topology to Paint to Track to ... etc) and then switch between sub menus (Objects to Spline Objects to the Advanced Tools, etc). The Fine Adjustment Tool in S20, for example, has full 3D movement control with rotation in a wire frame "dongle" that is attached to every selected object and spline point. With a few mouse movements I can precisely adjust an objects height, position and rotation without having to move the mouse back and forth between the object and the menu tab tools and using key stokes to select actions. Add to that each object (or group of selected objects) has its own context menu or menus (more than one) that opens up a list of often used commands. It has sped up my workflow for my most often used operation - terrain smoothing. It is still "early days" for me and I am still on the S20 learning curve.

Other features, such as the ability to paint under splines, and the Effect Layer option tools that improves the application of those layers, I have also used but not as much as the S20 tools. I have found these to be useful as well.

Overall, Trainz Plus gets a big :Y: from me over TRS19.

what about the fluidity, can you see train jerking while driving ?

That is substantially improved and is getting even better with the new smaller, faster-loading, data compression being introduced in TRS22 but in the current beta right now.
