The Checkrail Thread

Great looking loco SRS - and I take it from those shot's it will run in TS10 or maybe even lower! There's an updated version of the route available at checkrail though...

:)

yap..these shots are taken from TS 2009
I can't update them to newest versions because I'm doing all of this stuff in onboard VGA:'(

Thanks All :)

@ Ken - the spline grass is one of a series by Tram__ "JVC(TBL)GrassSpline#1*" from the DLS. Grass objects are Trunda's which are not on the DLS and I've lost track of where they are currently hosted. Tram__ used Trunda's texture images on a JVC spline, which makes the spline and object transition close to seamless. If you are in TS10 Compatibility Mode it's important that you use the original <Kuid2:blah:blah:1> versions of the splines. In later versions of the sim use the updated versions of the splines, but in later versions the seamless blend to Trunda's objects becomes irrelevant because the object grasses suffer big time from the alpha issue thing....

Thanks Dermmy, I am on the latest and not so greatest TS12 so I will have a look see.

I can't wait for the Hutchinson Route; the place is really in my backyard (KS is just next door to me in Mo, lol) and I've been there to visit the Kansas Cosmosphere. Not only that but the terminal railroad's former ALCo S1 switcher is now living it up on the Abilene and Smoky Valley RR along with former ATSF 4-6-2 No. 3415.

So yeah, I can't wait for this line. And I don't care if I have to buy TS12 to run it!

Good evening, can anyone advise on the following...
I am trying to get the Kanshino session content but appears that the links to both sets of flat cars are not available. Are they available elsewhere?
Thank you.

Fixed! Re-download the session dependency pack :)

I can wait for the Hutchinson route (We here in KS just call it Hutch). I live not too far from Hutch, and I've been there multiple times. Can't wait to run on it. Nice work, Dermmy.

Thanks Epa - Hutch is still very much a current project, I just find myself constantly swapping between routes at the moment. Normally I settle on one and work on it for months at a stretch, but at the moment I am chopping back and forth every couple of days. The result is very little progress anywhere, but it will sort itself out.....
