Derailment in Campbelton NB

Was trying out a run from second track of the yard to go towards Quebec but there must be a problem with the junction!

Nice pics Jade. I'm sorry to ask this but do you know where I could find those CP Rail woodchip cars? I looked on the DLS and a few other sites to no avail. :( If you could also tell me where you found the GP9U, that'd make my day. :)

Where did you get that high hood? I never knew those exsisted for trainz. Unless your going long-hood forward (then...my bad sorry xD)

That loco is a GP9 High Hood going forward (no not going long hood forward ;) my world my rules :D) and unfortunately, it's payware. There are some freeware high hoods you can find on various sites. I know there is a BNSF high hood and an NS high hood too. I think there's even a freeware CP high hood (somewhat outdated in terms of quality though).

These one's came up when I took a look quickly.

- Give flamerail a look on the DLS.
- http://virtual-motive-division.com/html/us_loco.html (ns high hood)

I know there is a BNSF high hood out there somewhere too. The CP might be a MLW or what not (they look similar to me).

I asked Jade about the hopper and GP9U because I have no idea where he found them but I do know that you can find the CP caboose on the DLS because that's where I got mine! :hehe:

Nice shots Ex-railwayman. I bought that loco last night myself and she looks great.

Keep up the great shots!

Here's 10 more screenies from Marias Pass, featuring BigJohn's new 40 and 50 foot SP&S boxcars on the DLS today, and the SOO GP40....

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Great shots Gisa but I think CN only uses LCS Beltpack units in big yards. Those switiching jobs would be probably be done by a non-LCS unit. And Amtrak goes though Brampton? Great shots!

Thanks Cam. There really aren't many CN engines to choose from that would do these kind of duties (the only one's I know of are sd40's and bigger for through freight and a gp35 and that's about it) but these ones look great, so I just use 'em when I can. :D

Amtrak used to go through Brampton. There was a Toronto-Chicago daily? that went and as far as I know, Amtrak used the cars for it (and VIA and Amtrak shared the duties of running a locomotive). I remember taking it home from my University (University of Guelph) to Brampton sometimes. Decent fare price of 8 dollars (I had an USID card [University discount card]) for a one way trip. The only problem was that the train was very unreliable in that it could be on time one night or an hour late the next. Alas, I am guessing poor ridership or high expenses made it unprofitable and they cancelled it.
