Ok so just add some grey to the white to make it a little darker you mean?

I tried last night to make the whit a little lower on the scale to add some grey but it didn't look right.
I think it's about ready to go to DLS though.. but ill see if I can do some further playing around with colors. We'll see what I can do.

Well, I know that on my route, I'm using a combination of Google Earth, personal experience (I live about 2 miles from the tracks), and educated guesswork to make it work.
EDIT: try sites like Railpictures.net and search for the locations, too.
