Whoa, ho, ho, lots of good stuff! Morning Ladies and Germs!

Jack, That's my new favorite from you! That's really nice bud!

Roy, that's looking great! It's nice to see lots and lots of trees. I'm not sure how that new version works, but I DO like the reflections in the water, the shadows I'm not sure about yet (I think that the shadows is something I just don't like, so much so that I unticked the "shadow box" in TS12, and like it!)! Well done!

Geez, that Gerald has some skills! Now, if we can only get him interested in building steamers!

Oh boy, D is cooking with gas now! Amazing stuff bud! What are ya doing, working 24/7 on it!?

I sure hope I didn't miss anyone. Hello to you Michael!

OK, I am using the new monitor now. I'm finally getting it dialed in, I think! I played around with it and instead of messing around too much, I set it to "movie". It looks about the same as the old one used to look. I have noticed when I send in the shots, they seem darker when they show up here. I wish they would show up the way I see them on my trainz pc. I found the new monitor way to light (or dark) on every setting except "movie". Well, let's see what happens with these!

Here's the new roundhouse in the Dartmouth Yard (Steve's fault!), I'm still working on it. ... and the engine shed at the end of the line, kind of a tight curvy fit! I stole that shed from the Quebec Central! Booth buildings have animated doors.

Cheers .... Rick

When can one try this line out for testing purposes?

Hi there Constar; I guess you're talking about my route. It's not even as good as I TRY to make it look! I'm sort of going over the whole thing for a third and final (I hope) time. I will never upload it to any site. I'm a firm believer in not sending trash to the DLS. No, I'm not being modest, I believe this. Shoot, after the third and "final" pass, I may see what I can do about the worst area, the track work. When it's all done, I MAY have the nerve to somehow send it to anyone who wants to do whatever to it. IF this happens, I will help with any missing kuids, etc. When I'm done, I will make sure there is no rolling stock or locos on the route. If the person is a Canadian Steam era fan, I would suggest they get all of the Steam Era rolling stock in the JR freeware and all of froobie's stuff on the DLS. That would be great to have along with sandman's cabooses. I'm not sure right now if Sandy goes by that or sandman2. I'd say grab all that now, who knows what the future holds. Also, for Canadian steam era fans, do yourself a favor and get the CNR steamers at K&L. They are well worth the few bucks they cost. There will be another loco in the future, a 4-6-0. You could live without them because Michael (froobie) did a really great job with many , many (bless his heart) CNR and CP steamers. He also reskinned some real nice CP passenger cars and was just starting some CNR ones. Why didn't he do the CNR ones first!? (hee, hee). I thing he'll be back in action, soon I hope.

So, my friend, if you REALLY want it, give me 6 months or so and I promise if there is a way, I will get it to you. You can do with it as you please. .... but, if you upload it anywhere, PLEASE LEAVE MY NAME OUT OF IT!

Cheers .... Rick

I am still willing to test it out just send to my email when you feel it's up to par.

Amazing Gerald! I wish I had that kind of talent. It takes me forever to make anything and when it's finished, well, it's not really finished. Nice work man! I don't think anyone will complain about more CN units.

Your route is really coming along Dragonharh. Looking good so far!

Rick, if my route was built to the same standard as yours I'd be happy to share it. It's a wonderful piece of work and I bet it's terrific to drive a steamer on. You've got so many great little details that a guy could spend hours just looking the route over. I guess we are our own toughest critics, never quite satisfied with this or that, but I tell you, you've done an incredible job with your route!

Roy's got some beautiful shots of one of my favourite parts of the country. Going to see a bit of that this summer. Real nice Roy!

Cheers everyone,
Jack

Looking good everybody! This is such an enjoyable thread, and it's thanks to Rick for bringing it back to life!
I just thought I'd show Rick and everybody else some areas that they probably haven't seen in a while, but are tired of seeing anyway (Ha, never!)

My gosh, Gerald, you're barely out of diapers and look at what you are doing! So, I'm now finding your excellent work even more amazing! Keep at it my young friend, but also save some time to enjoy other things in life.

Thank you for such kind words! I will most certainly find time, after my big move coming up...

(PS, the Trucks on both models are temporary!)
