G'morning all,
-dragonharh: I recognize those ground colours. I hope to see the finished product!
-Enzo1: Do you know what those great shots did to my allergies? I took me 10 minutes to the clean the boog**s of my monitor :'(
-anyone: Great shots all! I love those CPR passenger cars :hehe: :hehe:
I finished to track from the Wye at South Slocan north to the City - now Village - of Slocan which is situated at the south end of Slocan Lake, and decided to 'decorate' the village. The details were taken from Google Earth 2005 imagery. There's almost no Streetview in Slocan.
The first train arrived in 1897. (There was a ferry/rail service to New Denver, Naksup and then on to the CPR mainline at Revelstoke. That segment got removed because of Trainz issues with big files.) The rail line runs south to South Slocan and was closed in 1998. (There are large hydro electric works stretching from South Slocan to Corra Linn, 4 km. upstream. )

A shot of the Passenger train waiting for the freight.

Now the passenger train arriving at the station to load passengers.

That's all for today.
