Thanks Gisa. Your tutorial on Trans Dem really helped.

The route is about 105 miles long, I started it at the Dixie GO Station and it ends up about 3 miles west of CP's London yard into the Windsor Sub. It is still a WIP with only about 30% of the scenery done.
All of the main line track and signals are done as well as any yards along the main. I have started all of the branches and spurs with some more done than others.

I have been at it for almost a year and with the summer coming progress will be slow. Working on the scenery is especially mind numbing.

Thanks Loadman! It was the least I could do for the community and I'm happy to hear they helped you (as that was my intent). I still have (and admire) your SD40-2 skins! Your route looks fantastic and I imagine one could have a lot of fun driving on it. It sounds like your route is quite long too! It sure does take a lot of time, energy, and patience to model a long route doesn't it? I find the spurs and branches are killer because they take up so much time and one feels like they haven't really made any progress "forward" in a sense. If they could build the CPR, I suppose one could build a route though right? Be sure to take breaks and play from time to time. That always helps if you ask me. That and of course, seeing awesome shots by others.

Great shots all!

Great job on those Alcos N8phu: they look fabulous! Love the background Alcos too. I'm flattered you'd showcase them off on that old route though.

Thanks!

Also, old doesn't mean useless....... its still pretty nice to run a train on and just watch it make its way from portal to portal...

Now, if your feeling a might guilty, some love to it would be appropriate... :)
