Thanks Roy! I still have lots to learn...thankfully, I get a lot of inspiration from other route builders like yourself. :) Looking forward to the completion of your route BTW!

Gisa

Nice shot thats true gisa :D your route looks great! think the pic was taken between lachine and Mtl-Ouest?

Thanks Cabuse. Nope, I'm still at Ile Perrault for now. Been doing some tweaking of the area (swapping out the track, lowering bushes to a more realistic height, etc...). Still lots of work to do in this area before I move west...

Here's another while I'm at it:

dont worry you wont be stuck with those for long :P my LRC is at light speed thanks to rapido... only having the engine sounds is an issue :P and the cab view ofc xD

ah and also did you know these engine and height are not even the correct lenght :P there like 15M while the LRC does 19.1 M. and the height is like 3.8 and these one have 3.2... way small compare to the real thing. that bugged me when i downloaded them xD

Looking forward to them, once complete of course. :udrool:

As for the height and length, I can't blame him, since the diagrams I gave did not have numbers. I'm still grateful for his efforts and as you can see, I still find a place for them too.

Gisa,
you are doing very well on your route from seeing this pict. How large is it and what area covering or something fictional?
I bet knowing you its protypical.
Cabuse that engine consist probably won't make it on the CPR Mountain Sub with the grades I guess,is a very nice one if you ask me!
I was thinking if I have a spare the comings weeks maybe I take Ocemy's passenger cars give them a scrub and make them a party disco train sort of thing driving overnight from Vancouver to Calgary or the other way for the weekend for youngsters from Calgary visiting the big City lol. You guys know these beautiful highly detailed rolling stock but not sure if it would look odd on Canada's track tell me if so I could save time for more important things but like very much back to 3D model making and reskinning.

You guys have a wonderful Sunday.

We woke Up by the iphone giving 2 alarms this early morning message warning customers placed an early sunday morning order.

Is there a nicer way to be waked up other than your wife (well not always haha) or My deer djoetje jump on the bed and his wet nose in my face telling papa open the door I want to go in the park.
Next week I will post some picts and ask Roy's trainz users to feed this thread and share with you guys is that ok or leave it the way it is?

Roy, Ning from my hotel bed:wave:
n Djoetje home alone (can you imagine with his Aunty looking after him)

I know the ARN working, but I did this:

Peter, reskin is amazing, can you share it?

Sadly no, not now. It is a reskin of Jointed Rail's F40ph model. I've been talking to them about them releasing my F40 reskins (probably payware on their site). But they've been dragging their feet.

Roy, I apologize for not replying to your message. I must have missed your reply and just saw it now. Thanks for the compliments. I've got a long way to go towards being a route builder but thankfully, I've been able to spend a bit of time railfanning in real life, which has helped me a bit. That route is (a prototypical) replica of the AMT/CN tracks along the southwestern shore of Montreal. About 65 kilometers at most, but I've been aiming for about 40. The problem is, building in suburban/city areas requires a lot of attention to detail and is very time-intensive. Maybe I'll work more on it in the future when my workload simmers down a bit.

I know the ARN working, but I did this:

Great shot and great skin Peter. You've done a lot of great reskins with the f40ph's. Hope JR does decide to release your reskins someday.

Looks awesome Peter, what cars are those?

Those great models are freeware and on the DLS by Kilianziom

It's really sad, but then it would be great if you could share only reskin files, others and i who have such locomotive could do it by themselves.
