Thanks!

Also, old doesn't mean useless....... its still pretty nice to run a train on and just watch it make its way from portal to portal...

Now, if your feeling a might guilty, some love to it would be appropriate... :)

Well put! I enjoy doing that myself (running trainz from portal to portal and just watching). Must be the railfan in us that enjoys that. Heh, that route would need a lot of love to get it up to scratch!

(Lets see if we can "persuade" him into a version 2 of this route....)

Fantastic shots! If only it were that simple. :) I'd love to rework a lot of stuff on that route (I built it on a slower comp at the time). I suppose one could breath a lot of new life into it if they simply used the replace function for the trees and a few textures. I'm more keen on working on another route (see pics below) but the reality is, I simply don't have time for much at the moment. :( Between an intensive summer course, looking for a job, likely moving apartments, and maybe a short vacation, I won't have time any time soon. :( I've been so busy I haven't used surveyor in almost 5 months...

With the prediction of heavy snow later tonight, the snow removal crew has been assembled and taken out the equipment for a shake down run....

Awesome spreader! Can't think of a better place where it belongs in trainz than in that pic! Great stuff!

A few humble pics from myself. Ever wondered why mathematics can be awesome? I think I realized why: it's because anything is possible, including the timing of a 4 train meet. :D

Great pics all!

Real life trumps all. I hope everything works out and life mellows out for you...

Yup, it does. @@ Maybe someday when I am full-time employed teacher (could take years at this rate...) I'll have time off in the summers to work on it. Thanks for the kind wishes though! Life is pretty tough for a lot of folks and I hope things get better for everyone soon. I hope things are okay for you and yours as well (I heard about the storm in the states recently).

BTW, keep up the great work: you are making a lot of ALCO fans very very happy! ^^

A couple for you Gisa, on your CPR Shreiber summer route ;)....about 4 texture to replace and about 8 trees (Pofig's trees) and the result is really not bad at all...........................while playing with N8PHU'S new babies.

Wow Rail4Pete: looks like a totally new route! How long did that take you? I think it looks so much better and definitely more colourful. Fabulous job! BTW, where would one pick up those high hoods anyhow? :)

How's your route coming along? Once in a blue moon I drive to Gatineau and I always tell my wife how wonderful the architecture is in Quebec. I imagine your route would be just as pleasant on my eyes.

I've been double honoured by both you and N8phu. Thank you both very much.

Keep the pics (of anything Canadian) comin'!

Took me about 20 min. If you want to have it I can send it to you, just drop me a PM with your email address (not sure if it's too large yet).

About my Quebec Central route....I spend very much time on making prototypical building plans (stations & freight shed) and research about them. If you look under Bendorsey's stuff, almost every asset he made with a ''Quebec Central'' name comes from my plans and he added some other variant model. I wanted to make the route like in the late 70's, but my research brought me to understand that when the passenger service ceased in 1967, in the next 2-3 years most stations were sold and moved or demolished. So I now try to make it as 1968-69 when the stations were still there. Now with N8PHU's new High Hood rs-18 that gives a real boost ! Will need to find a way to reskin a couple unit with the older scheme ''tuscan and gray+script lettering'' for that era. Most of them were repaint in red and multimark after 1975.

@everyone Great shot !

Sure that'd be great. I'll send you a PM shortly. Sounds like you've been very busy with your route. It seems never-ending sometimes, doesn't it? As for your comparison shot, it looks to me like you nailed it. :) Looking forward to more.

Got a few ideas on that....... The Tuscan and Grey is a must.... I have a few ideas on this :)

Nope. I took those on my super old Brampton - Unfinished route (DLS - 267662:101383)

Some shots from CN Coronado Sub. in Central Alberta, props to JointedRail for the Locomotives and Rolling stock

Hey, N8PHU,
Thanks large for helping us get these splendid SD40-F's back into Trainz.
I've wanted these locos for years but always had the error messages come up. But now, well, see for yourself...
CharlieLima_20120720_0000.jpg

We see a lot of these "Red Barns" here on the prairies of Canada as they go to the small town elevators and bring home the precious grains to ship all over the world.
Here, CP SD40-2F 9015 with CP SD40-2 6075 prepare to pick-up full grain hoppers and leave empties in their place.

Again, thanks.
