The best payware routes?

Well i haven't been here for a while... Apparently there was a server crash at some point? Lots has happened here with lots of new content, which is always good. :) Guess i'll have to buy another first class ticket and go on a download spree.

Anyways, i was thinking about buying a payware route because they look so good. I've been thinking about Maria's Pass and Murchison, currently i'm leaning a bit towards Murchison. They are both great routes but i can't afford to buy everything. I don't know much about other routes.

So... any suggestions on what to get? I'd like something with lots of good sessions/scenarios available, since i'm too bad/lazy to make them. Sessions are important for me, because i like having objectives and goals.

Thanks. :)

By the way, sorry if i posted this in the wrong place.

Preferably both. I like doing both kinds of operations depending on my mood.
Mostly i do freight but the occasional passenger run is fun too.

Well its not going to be payware but I am making a route that has both, mostly passanger but it will have 2 yards that connect to a port and then just goes off into the distance, but it would be a good place to add onto.

I purchased the Murchison Route and I found it worth the money. I can't compare it with the other route though as I don't have it.

I bought West From Denver and regret it. The route has many "floating track" errors where the track is floating above the ground. In addition, one engine yard is a mess, with track at all different grades floating over other track and the ground, and twisted track.

I sent emails and screenshots to Trainz Italia showing the West From Denver errors. Trainz Italia said they were aware of the errors and would release a corrected version "soon". That was 6 months ago and no corrected version has been posted and probably never will. I wasted a lot of money on West From Denver.

This also happened to me with another payware route by another creator which shall go unmentioned. A lot of errors and no corrections!

I would go with Murchison. The route has been around a long time and is constantly supported and upgraded (unlike the payware routes above).

Also, you might want to download two freeware routes that are as good as the best payware routes if not better:

B-Project2 kuid 170726:3466
McCall Yard

Both are available on the DLS.

I'm a bit dubias of payware routes as everything has to be design by the author/team, even stuff like ground textures etc. Seeing as I've been building Woodhead since Trainz first come out it isn't that easy. Who is going to buy a route without rolling stock and scenarios etc?

Well, both for Murchison and for Marias Pass there is fitting rolling stock in the game already, with much more on the DLS. I'm sure it's the same for many other payware routes.

At the moment i'm very tempted to go and buy the nature sets and get Murchison... Even though it's expensive, it looks awesome. However, i couldn't find sessions for it anywhere...

Nice. :) How many are there? Enough to keep me occupied for a while? Like i said i suck at making sessions for Trainz so i probably won't be making anything myself...

Well that seems to be enough to keep me playing it. Hopefully there will be more later, though, more sessions can never hurt. ;)

Will Stage 3 use the same nature sets or will i need to buy something new for it?

I don't think Stage 3 has been released.

I know it has not been released, but is there information on whether it will use the same stuff stage 2 needs or if it will need something new?

Opps-Your right! It's "West From Denver" that Trainz Italia makes. All my comments on the errors of the Marias Pass Route are incorrect. I meant the West From Denver Route as the route with all the errors.

The creators of Maria Pass please accept my deepest apology.
