Well done Australia, I blame it on that peculiar food our lot were eating, some good old steak and chips would have probably worked wonders. ;)

Well Malc i do recall pointing this out earlier on in the piece so next time they are out here i'll put in for head of Catering for them and feed em up proper plus you forgot to mention Beer LOL.
Cheers Mick.

Congratulations to Australia, very well deserved. Be interesting to see how England respond to this as we thought we'd seen the end of this kind of capitulation nonsense over a decade ago*.

[*excepting the 2006/7 Ashes series which turned out to be an aberration.]

Nah, you gotta keep all the posts Patchy, I think 99% of all English cricket fans would agree that we've been slaughtered in the Test Series, which you guys have so eloquently reminded us of, so, let them stay, then, in a couple of year's time when we thrash you again for that little urn we can point to this thread as our inspiration......:p

Anyway, the One Dayers start tomorrow, we'll most probably give you a good whooping when we change into our red pyjamas.:hehe:

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

Just noticed on the news that the ladies team for England are doing far better. Think we could do with them taking the mens place. Would make a far more interesting game.

You can indeed young man, I'm sure that with the upcoming other games then you'll be able to claim 7-0, 8-0 and 9-0 as well......:hehe:

Cheerz. ex.

They are playing the Prime Minister's XI at Manuka Oval here in Canberra today. It will be a nice warm welcome since its going to be 37 degrees C.

I had a delivery to do in Kippax late last night and it was still 20 sumthing when i left so it will certainly be a warm day up there today. So i hope the Poms have hats and sunscreen along with all the spectators and it should be a great game to watch actually so good luck to all.
Cheers Mick.

Well I don't know
I thought you poms had in the bag for the 2nd ODI:)
An Irishman nearly won it for you, Maybe sack the Seth Aferkaians:confused:

Cheers,
Patchy

So now its 7-0. I almost felt sorry for them, but I managed to stop myself. Have to say that overall England had several good players over our one or two. It was edge of the seat stuff for a change. Maybe next time?:)
