Brilliant, our Australian friends could learn so much from that - and put it to good use the next time they lose.

Yes well i hope Ben Stokes watched it as well, Seems you poms don't like to loose either and when things are looking down you do what you do best :p. Better luck with the next one boy's.

Sumtimes i wish those players were still playing. Let's make this interesting and have a little Trainz wager on the outcome of the next Match ?, If the Poms win any Aussie in this thread shall place a nice British Screenie in the Aussie Screenshot section and if the Aussies win you Poms shall do the same in your Screenie's thread. Nothing smart or silly just a screenie to show a bit of respect to the winner's. Any taker's.
Mick.:)

More advice on not counting chickens:

A young man who hailed from fair 'stralia
had earned lots of sporting regalia
'til one day he came last
and in spite of his past
the newspapers called him a failure

You better watch it or we'll send Boycs back in. Two hours at the crease and he won't have even taken guard. ;)

Sounds a bit like Bill Lawry. I'm sure Bill could have at least forced a draw in the Adelaide test if he were playing for England. Hopefully the last three games will be more of a contest.

Going to be a tough ask, You mob have not won at the WACA for 35 years

Cheers,
Patchy
I'm thinking of launching a RunStarter for the English team where the batsmen have to pledge a certain number of runs to the innings. Failure to meet their target will result in a percentage of their match fee going to the Trainz KickStarter. That should get us through a few stretch goals. ;)

HAHA! Post of the thread so far.

The Poms bowled poorly at the WACA
65% of balls were to short, So the slips become obsolete
You got to pitch the ball up a yard further to make us play off the front foot

Cheers,
Patchy

I'm guessing that as the Aussies were 143-5 (or 5-143 if you want to be really perverse) the bowling can't have been all bad.
