Now T:ANE I can get into
I'm presently working on modeling a streetcar/tram operation, and rather than relying on dedicated splines for the streets, I am instead creating them with asphalt/cobblestone ground textures. While this works out well for urban scenes in which the sidewalks are right along the edge of the street, I am running into a bit of trouble in areas where there's a strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street, especially when the texture-streets are at an angle (with resultant messy edges).
The best solution I can think of would be a set-up of: street texture > grass strip spline > sidewalk spline > grass texture, with the grass strip/sidewalk splines covering up the seam between the street and grass textures. I was wondering if any route-builders are either aware of good splines which I could utilize for this purpose, or had any alternative ideas/recommendations they would suggest instead?
