EOFY stands for what? End-Of-Fiscal-Year? Prices look affordable enough to denote that someone wants to attract potential investors/shareholders/acquirers soon....?

End of Financial Year: It is an Aussie thing it seems. Big sales in June. I guess it is the equivalent of after Christmas sales in the USA. Dump the excess inventory before you have to pay taxes on it. And before anyone says it, I understand N3V sells digital products. But here in the USA, the government now taxes "unrealized profits" on digital currency investments and other investment accounts.

Just an aside to the main subject of the topic.

I purchased the TRS22 upgrade to TRS22PE in this EOFY sale and the purchase came with a complimentary 31 day 1st class DLS ticket. The complimentary ticket was automatically activated thus rendering me with two 1st class tickets running concurrently. I contacted the Help Desk about this and the kind Zec Murphy deactivated my complimentary ticket so I can now activate it when I need it, thank you Zec.
I think the purchaser should be given the choice of receiving an activated or inactivated 1st class ticket if it is offered as a complimentary addition to a purchase.

Rob.

Some companies here do their EOY in June. Oracle is one I know of and another company I worked at did as well. I don't remember why they did it but they did. All I know is it was a pain in the backside because we were busy and had to do inventory in the middle of June instead of in January when things were slow.

If personal savings accounts are taxed then so should digital currency accounts and other investments, besides there is nothing new here. When I had stocks 25 years ago, I had to claim the dividend as income. I'm not talking about billions or millions, or even hundreds in dividends. I made $28 on Polaroid stock which I was forced to purchase as an employee. Digital currency is Bitcoins and their ilk and not revenue made over the internet on digital products.

One likes these Steam sales when they happen, left on the wish list.
July 2024 sales purchased Coal Country for TRS 2019, (bonus routes included is Legacy Of The Burlington Northern V2, + Mojave Sub Division for TRS 2019) all for AUD $12.70
They are small routes but the sessions are excellent, should keep one entertained over the Aussie winter months.
