Hope everyone had a good xmas.
I am wondering about the use of pv2tga. There are some threads on the subject but they don't relate to my problem... Which is, When I get the messagePM file are no longer ETC ETC change to LOD, I open with pv and it does something(I see the bar for different lengths of time) the asset is then open for edit. When I commit, I still get the same error message as if nothing has changed.Is there something else I need to do. I did read the readme file but that has no advice. Obviously I'm a 2009 sp1 user.

TRS2009 does support .pm format files as well as .im files it shows shows a warning.

PEV has another utility that converts .pm to .im but that conversion can involve more than just converting the file, you sometimes need to add extra folders for things like shadows etc.

By the way. Do you live here.You are always helpful on many threads. I just wondered if there is life outside of trainz. I'll take your advice into account. I like repairing assets (All part of the game as far as I,m concerned) I'm afraid that sometimes I ruin them and they don't work at all.Then it's revert time or reD/L. Anyway it's all good fun. Some people just expect too much.
