Hi Community!

I recently downloaded a program, that I heard was very good, called TerrianZurveyor.

Downloaded Here: http://www.gaurc.us/index_files/software.htm

It looks really cool but I cant figure it out worth mashpotatos and peas.:hehe:
I save it in the World/Custom/Displcacements folder but they dont show up in TRS2006?

I made some terrain I really like but I cant use it in TRS2006?:'(

Does anyone here use this excelent program who can help me?
Thanks so much in advanced.

Cheers,
Adam

I would suggest reading the PDF documentation. I'm going to try this myself with TRS2004 and see how it works.

Hey Casy.

I looked at the PDF File throughly, nothing that I read that helped me.
I tried to follow the instructions as best as I could.

But there's all this history back ground on stuff its hard to pick out things you need. I'll take a look again though.

Hi Titicaniclover,

I downloaded this program lastnight. Everything seems to be working fine for me. When you save it in your World/Custom/Displcacements, do you save it as a .bmp? You also need to place a name for the terrain as well-I dont know if you have already done this, this could be your problem.

Hope this helps

Hi Mike,

It automaticly saves it as a BMP file. And I do name it but it still doesn't show up in Surveyor.

Worse yet Trainz has decided not to launch for me.:'( So I'm tinkering away trying to figure this out as well.

Uh...no. It never specified to in the directions.:o

It was made in TRS2004 so that would make sense to import it.
I'll try that and see what I come up with.

Hmm...it seems that they dont show up in explorer...how curious...

Wonder whats wrong...

I will think this over a bit more...It would not import by the way. It says no content in specified loaction.

Adam

Really helpful program. If you are saving it in with the other displacement maps it should come up when you select the maps as usual. This works for me in 2004.:)
