TC Content Manager

Trainz Bum for now
Hi,

I have looked on the fourm about Content Manager in Trainz Classics, but my efforts seem fruitless..
My problem is that my Content Manager in Trainz Classic is not allowing me to open, meaning everytime I click on Content Manager, it gives me a "would you like to send to Microsoft" error report. I even tried the un-install re-install thinking that my first installation missed a nessary file or field required to make Content Manager work, but no avail. If someone could please help me as I am compleatly confused about bout this??

Regards
Mike S.

Hi,

Have a look in the install directory where in installed TC, hopefully there may be a text file in there called ContentManagerLog.txt or ContentManager.txt (something like that). This file is written by Content Manager on each start up, there maybe something in there that could give a clue to what's going wrong.

From memory, Content Manager is dependent on OpenGL functioning correctly, so make sure that video drivers are upto date.

Run the TrainzDiag.exe program in the bin folder of your Trainz install.

If the OpenGL section fails that is a common reason for the error you are seeing. You will probably need to upgrade your graphics card's drivers to fix it.

Mike.

I have found and installed new and updated drivers for my computer. So now CMP in TC works except it keeps showing me a dialog box that says "updating assits please wait" I have waited almost 45 mins and come to find out CMP locks up... any clue as to why?
