TC 1st & 2nd Edition impossible to run

Hi

I recently bought TC 1st & 2nd Edition and installed it on my not-too-shabby PC (Windows XP Prof). Unfortunately, the TC program takes an age to load and once it finally does load it runs slower than my toenails can grow. Any suggestions?

:'( I want to play with my trains!

Give us the spec of your PC (processor, ram, video board) and someone may be able to offer some specific advice.

Also make sure no other programs are running in the background.
