It's tricky, if it is indeed possible - TRS2006 CMP will not allow you to create an archive or a CDP file of built-in content.
I think the only way of doing it involves copying .ja files (after renaming them to avoid conflicts - remember to keep the .ja at the end) into the TC Builtin folder, then rebuilding the TAD (I should warn you though, it's not guaranteed to work, and there is a chance that existing TC content may be overwritten)
There is a way to do this with built in content from 2006, I do it all of the time from 06 to 09.
Use CM2 to find the TRS06 assests that you want to import and open them for edit. Open CM3 and select 'Import Content' from the file menu. In the dialogue box that opens browse to the 'editting' folder of your TRS06 install and select all of the asets there. CM3 will then import them .
The Problem is that trs2006 and tc both use cm v1 I've tried to import but it changes the name of the asset to untitled Tried to renmae the folder then it come back can't find config.txt

This works for me to transfer assets from 06 to 09.
1. Select built-in asset to be transferred
2. Clone the asset in CMP.
3. Save cloned asset as CDP. Give the CDP a name that you will recognize.
4. Exit 06 and open CM in TC.
5. Under FILE click import CDP.
6. Locate your cloned item and click on it.
CM will import the cloned asset into your TC database and install it for you if you have it set to automatic. If not, you will have to use CM to find the clone, open it for edit and commit. Be sure to check for missing dependencies in case one or more did not get transferred or is not already in your TC database. Missing dependencies, if any, can be located and transferred in the same manner. Also be prepared to do some repairs if you need to open the asset for editing.
