Tabletop

Hello all,
It's that blonde lady again with yet another new route, and so quickly after my Branchline UK too! Well, you can all stop standing back in amazement because I cheated, this has been on my drive for a long time and really needed completing, so I did.
It is supposed to represent a Hornby style tabletop layout, the kind you can create from 'assets' bought from shops. But this tabletop is 3 boards long, so I hope you've a big sitting room.

A few shots.

See how many diesel locos you can spot here that can be found in the Hornby catalogue

Another angle to help you.

Now do the same with the steamers.

Passing by the milk depot with the docks in the background, a Class 35 Hymek and a black Class 4MT

Have fun with this one, that's what it's for. Don't be afraid to twiddle the knobs and change what you want.

The name of the game

It looks like a lot of fun. I like the turn table.

Hi jadebullet,
Yes, that's the name of the game, fun! There are no motive units on the route I sent up, peeps will need to put their own favourites on. There are plenty of 'industries' and operational opportunities, alter them to what you fancy or what suits.
I have tested this route and it runs well.

Looks like a lot of fun too! You have great track-laying skills, the curves and switches look perfect!

Hello to our favourite blonde.....:hehe:

Superb miniroute Angela, thank you, another one off the hard-drive......:D

As an answer to your question and a complete guess, as I haven't tweaked with my hornby railway for nearly 40 years, but, I would hazard a guess that all these locomotives have featured in their catalogue at some time or other.

Yep, I checked their latest catalogue and they're all there - and many more, so no excuses you lot, get Hornbying.

Blessings,

Approved

The route has been approved, may be up today.

However, there are 2 assets missing from the DS. One by Niffi 147131:261102, a building. You can e-mail him for info on this, he may have a site or another site may host his content.
And another by tafweb 1942:23005 which is probably a built-in asset to 04. Can't find that anywhere but it may be downloadable from his site. Has anybody got the site address? Or even the asset!

I do find it a little frustrating that built-in objects are not on the DS. I would have thought that if they were included on a disc they should be because later versions of Trainz, like now, are going to run into problems.
I try not to include them, but with nearly 10 Gig of assets on my drive it is difficult to keep track of what's what!

If I remember rightly that IS the small size! I tend to try and use small for whatever texture being applied unless I accidentally miss it and just splurge it on... ha ha.
But do feel free to alter it if you wish.

Hello Bob,
Yep, cheers for that snippet. I must have missed it on that post! Going blind as well as daft.
Seriously I was, but these eye drops are holding their own and I am now able to spend more time on the PC, hence the new routes.

Bless you,

Angela

Hi Angela..

Just a tip.. be like me . Any links to Trainz sites and members links I just copy the link and keep it in a folder on my desktop. If I need to look for one its the first place I look.

Hi there, very nice shots and in addition to Hornby, i have an old 1980's or 90's book/catalog that has every locomotive from the time it was made down. it comes with Hornby, Lima, Fleishman and many other companies from Europe and the USA!
