ok I can't find how to create a new thread plus I don't use this much so I'll just do it here. Mainly the problem is this, my trainz 12 freezes up a lot from the beginning of installation to the update of the last patch and has been doing this ever since I got a new desktop. I have built many of routes in my trainz 12 and running nice freight but the fraps mainly is the problem. It's becoming lower and lower everyday in Open Gl and direct x when I try to run or build something.
In Open GL, I start to work on my a area and I have below 15 fraps then if I start driving a train, I have somewhat smooth running about 23 fraps; Direct X is a different story.
If I run Direct X then we have the fraps thru the roof and close to 100 fraps. I laying the hound out of track and building in lots of areas and it's great because I enjoy it more but when you want to start running a train or moving around in certain spots, the fraps start depleting and crashes.
I have a brand new cyber power desktop gaming computer that I got last year for trainz 12 because I had the game on a Toshiba laptop and I knew that it wouldn't run after I saw what it done in the game. I didn't know about running then game mainly on a desktop and not on a laptop but you learn from the mistakes you've made. I need to know what I need to about this problem because I hate when we are building something of our dreams or using blueprints of routes and you can't enjoy it and have a smooth running operation.
Thanks you very much. if you need more info let me know.

You would do better posting this in the TS12 forum (direct link to creating a new thread in that forum is http://forums.auran.com/trainz/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=64). Posting it in a screenshots thread may not help it get to the people who can assist.
