thats it for today. Good night everyone. :)

Thanks :).

All tracks are my own repaints (the original is "SAM track-III class3 v1"), and the wagons/cars are also my own repaints, made on different Sgnss models.

Thanks Erik. But I actually meant the automobiles. :hehe: I really like them!

Great shots all. Major shoutout to Petrama for his phenomenal Budd M1; we have been working together to make it as accurate and visually pleasing as possible, and I'm consistently impressed with how it improves. To all who commented on his renders and said Knifeswitch would be all over this - you were right. ;)

May 18, 1985: A westbound Penn Station train rockets under the Ellison Ave. overpass after just leaving Westbury station. The two buffs on the bridge would have gotten a killer meet here, as Train 658 to Port Jefferson just flew by with a pair of GP38-2s and a powerpack conversion MP15AC providing HEP on the rear. A Delta flight overhead begins their final descent to JFK International.

Yeah...
Amazing shots!
Not to nitpick, but the Delta plane in the screenshot is wearing the 2007+ livery.
Again, AMAZING work!

I saw a video yesterday about Chinese Strip Mining, which is in Australian terms, 'open-cut' or 'surface' mining. The Chinese use excavators to load wagons pulled by steam locos. These can be operating on many levels simultaneously and is fascinating to watchso much action happening in one particular area. It inspired me to create a small diorama, which I'll use as a base to create a route later on. Here's a couple of screenshots.

Trying to locate good Chinese steam 'work-horses' on the DLS was difficult, so I had to make do with some local equipment instead.
Cheers,

Hi Roy

I am working on some Chinese open coal mine locomotive and wagons, I plan to finish them later this year and upload them to DLS

I've had an interest in Chinese steam since I saw a video featuring the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad's (a tourist railway in Boone, Iowa) Chinese-built 2-8-2 JS #8419. Are you planning on doing any other steam locomotives, such as the QJ or SY?
