T:ANE (in development) screenshots...

Nice clear day to check out the Bangor & Leiver!

A tired 54 sits in the weeds at Swanson awaiting her slot in the shop for a 92 day, watching as T02 rolls northbound with the 699 on point blasting a beautiful mixed cast Metra P5A.

Later in the day, 2's crew has picked up a few cars as they continue their journey to Bangor... shown here with the throttle in the corner passing a group of buffs watching trackside.

Different from the norm, 2's crew wyed the 699 and returned south to Swanson. They posed the 699 next to her sister for this shot at the shop.

Knifeswitch those are some of the best screenshots I've have ever seen. :) Great job, is that a upcoming route project or is it a custom route that you took those shots on?

Same Thing goes to Wearspranda. His route is one of the best (so far) TANE routes out there. :)

Familiar spot for a shot! Thanks for the kind remarks all - this is a team effort that a few of us have been working on and run with appropriate scheduling/routing/paperwork. Fun railroad! (at least when we show off the right power)

Took a while, but T:ANE has finally achieved "ANE" status.

How does it run so far? Is it better than the original T:ANE? I have a friend who is doubting that T:ANE is good and he thinks that it is slow on all computers. Has SP1 made it run better?

I think I know who your talking about Meow and I think you ignore that person because I've tested TANE many times and it especially ran much better than the original TANE and TS12/Mac 2, for the first time I was able to run Skype calls and show off Trainz without any lag present and the game runs a lot smoother too than it did back in May and I think your friend is still viewing TANE as it was when it was released back in May and refused to try out beta testing it because he just wants it to view it on one test run, I've seen more improvements over each beta than seeing more issues making it worse, I would definitely say get SP1 Moew, you will love it.

I haven't had T:ANE for more than 12 hours :hehe: , nor do I have SP1. I have a mid-range R9 280 card, and it runs decent with medium settings. Shadows are a killer, however, and I'm yet to play with the post-processing to get shots like above.

That being said, please feel free to share all your post-processing settings, I keep hearing about TRam__'s settings, but I can't find the specific post.

Finally got t:ane to work well enough to place an object. :hehe:Hot fix 2 is an definitely an improvement, and I for one can't wait for SP1

M216 departs Lilydale in a bright summer's morning light with a Christmas Train to Healesville.

Merry Christmas all, I hope everyone has a fantastic day :)

I downloaded T:ANE, patched it on steam and am in business! The Carbon & Limestone will live again. Game runs smooth and looks better than my rookie screenshot. Pic is first time I after laying about a mile of track I tested the Limestone Bridge over the Ohio River. Check out the reflections and shadows.
