On my PC T:ANE is smoother than any previous version of Trainz.
I guess by now you have seen my video in another thread? But if not this should give an idea about expected frame rates on a reasonably good PC with a reasonable graphics card.
The video was taken using FRAPS which does have some overheads, hence the occasional stutter. Without FRAPS it is much smoother.
I think this also gives a good display of the shadow and reflections in this latest Release Candidate.
The video is, as always, best watched full screen and in HD:
Note also the absence of smoke as the locomotive transits the tunnel.
