T:ANE (in development) screenshots...

Do macs even have that though? Fraps would also capture the shadows and save them to a screenshots folder. I dont think his mac, like alot of others can even handle the lowest setting of shadows.

As a Mac user, I will go ahead and confirm we do not have print screen (or MS Paint). Fraps is also unavailable for Mac (unless someone's made a torrent or wrapper, but I have no use for fraps so I do not know) AFIAK. Cmd+Shift+3 takes a picture of the whole screen (Cmd+Shift+4 allows you to capture a specific area you outline with your cursor) and places them on the Desktop as a .png. These are built-in for Mac.
Let me pull up a screenshot I took in T:ANE using Cmd+Shift+3.

Look at those shadows. Cmd+Shift+3 will put shadows into your screenshots, fullscreen or not.
No, of course his computer can't handle T:ANE. Mine can't - even with specs double & quadruple his in all areas (no offense - but facts are facts). No Mac can properly work with T:ANE. T:ANE is not optimized at all for Mac and it was even said it probably never would be in the Trainz Mac MOW area. With shadows, the performance takes a dive.

TL;DR Macs don't have Printscreen, Cmd+Shift+3 instead works to take screens and will show shadows. Macs don't perform well with T:ANE.

Cheers,
SM

Actually it can handle TANE with the right settings adjust. I take my shots using the in game screenshot taker. Plus with the right settings on, you would be surprised how the game runs okay.

Okay then, since you're some kind of T:ANE Mac Guru, show us your exact settings and we'll see how that runs. I will even reinstall T:ANE just to test them. As well, see if you can estimate your average framerate on a few maps (specifically Hinton & Avery-Drexel with 0 locos & rollingstock placed down).

I would be delighted to see them.

Got some more shots done today.

WOW fantastic shot there Normhart where is that taken at? plus where did you get that building with all the chimneys on it?

Fixed the Yarnish 2 Lane T-Intersections, Since the two on the left are built in's T:ane I was wondering how to get these fixes to NV3. The one of the left is available on the Download Station, but it's defective in T:ane

I've been away for years, and I am surprised nobody has fixed this yet, the Problem goes back to Maddy25 and the old Yarn System that Treadwell turned into Yarnish. This fixes it for TS12 as Well. I did NOT fix the Yarn Intersections where this stemmed from.

See they all have a connection point on the right, if you look at your Yarnish T-Intersections, these 3 they don't.

I did "paint" these defective Yarn assets red so I could get rid of them once and for all. Those are the last 3 in my route, and they'll be gone when after I post this.

Well one more Post, just to show that it was the origional Yarn code that was defective, then copied by Treadwell into Yarnish, then Built into T:ane.

So I've been gone for 2 years, and back at this for 2 days. I figured I'd do my part, since I think people still use these things.....

This is from my old TS12 version of the route where I did not replace the Yarnish T-Intersections that slight gap is from the original Yarn Model; These assets were modified as they went into T:ane back in January. Probably? But they weren't fixed.

Here's the same location in T:ane. With the fixed intersection. And the fixed asset above it. Note the attachment point on right. That's missing now on every one of these on earth. Except on my route.

That's my version of the St. Barbara Island route and the engine house is <kuid:206616:100217> MV_Dampflokschuppen01 by mick1960. It has operating doors and room for two of pencil42's mogels. As you can see one engine bay has a rear door that opens too.
