T:ANE (in development) screenshots...

Yes wasn't certain if I should mention them so just left them and folks can figure it out.

It's ALL GOOD....... Only thing I do not like is the Alpha Transparency @ LOD 3 and LOD 4 as looks thin, but these are the settings that N3V asked SpeedTrees to have with LOD and also depends on tree settings on when the transition occurs.
The Leaf Mesh Nodes do not seem to increase in size unlike the settings I have in SpeedTree :'( which would make the transition from LOD4 to Billboard So Much Better

Is it the trees?

Yeppers, just didn't want to self plug - LOL

Not sure what TANE is attempting to accomplish with that fading effect...just makes it look like everything is on the lowest texture setting...

TANE, TANE, TANE...what are we going to do with TANE.

Here's a shot I couldn't resist showing:

This is Ocemy's C&O Kanawha in the Thurmond Empties session (Release Candidate 1 - 75576). The arrow to the left is reflecting the hill behind the camera view. The middle arrow is showing a reflection of a lighting tower in the yard the loco is leaving. And the arrow on the right is showing reflection of tree foliage. As the loco moves the closest reflected scenery moves quickly along the side but the hill, which is further away, moves more slowly. The effect in game is stunning.

Curiously a screenshot taken within game doesn't show the reflections so I had to use another screen capture utility.

I have jumped on the T:ANE train (pun intended) and after changing the settings so the game doesn't crawl along at 1 FPS, I was able to get this screenshot from a session I made.

yesterday i first time played tane for long time and i realize that from first sight tane doest look different but as you try to explore it you will find the new features of game that will make it truly a new era of trainz currently most of the aeests used in routes are of old gen that gave look of ts 12 and previous but if you see the latest hd contents in tane then one can realize the potential of tane

I gotta say, this is running like 900x better than the last build I tried. Smoother than TS12 in terms of scenery load which honestly is enough for me lol

Does anyone have the BR Blue Duchess and USRA Pacific yet? If so, could they post pictures of them if it isn't too much trouble? I saw someone mention they already had the Blue Duchess...

TRam__: The sun's rays shining through those trees are amazing. Very realistic. This is definitely an improvement over Trainz 2010.

@ ATSF854:

Hello - nice screenshot - I could swear I know that stuff from somewhere ... :D
I guess it's been taken just a little west of Haugan, Mt.

Now I feel free to post some more shots of that route. The first three have been taken at Haugan, Mt, the others at Mullan, Id.

So, has anyone updated their tracks to generate junctions or its still only the built-in track that does it?
