Hi, would anyone know of good ways to make beaches, because I'm currently making a layout based along the south coast of Aussie, around the Kiama area and I need beaches.

I just used a sand texture for a beach I made in my Island route. The water looks a little lame as it just lies there. A bit of surf would be nice. I don't you will get anything like the "squeaky" sand of Jervis Bay or the sand in the marine national park near Exmouth WA. The sand is so soft there you can sink up to your knees.

The common method to make a slope is to lay a series of road spines along side one another from your selected high point to your selected low point (or vice versa) and click on each with the 'smooth spline' (S-key) tool in the advanced spline settings.

There are several KB Beach, Foghorn, and Gull sounds also.

There are many textures that are best set to minimum scale when painting.

There are many fish, and whale static assets by Whecsailor.

The shallow water could be a slighly darker shade, with ever increasing darker textures on the sea floor color, that can be painted a dark greenish/grayish/brown, and the water level/sea floor depth needs not to be really deep.

You could drive, exploring the sea floor in a submarine, using BNSF50 Invisatrack.
