Surveyor question: Straight/diagonal tunnels?

Tis another bug, change it back to istunnel 0 attach the track in surveyor then go back to content manager and change back to istunnel 1
Tedious but solves the problem.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I am having exactly the same issue and have followed exactly the previous mentioned steps but have not been able to solve the problem.

Ok, so the built-in tunnel asset has no errors and warnings, build number 2.9. I clone this asset, and mysteriously the following wild errors have appeared!

Error: Tag 'asset-filename' in the container 'track' is obsolete.
Warning: Required tag 'category-class' was missing and has been set to default.
Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing.
Error: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'ballast-ballast.texture'.
Error: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'bump-bump.texture'.
Error: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'reflect-reflect.texture'.
Error: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'track.texture'.
Error: The *.texture.txt file is missing for texture resource 'tunnel.texture'.

Can someone kindly advise please? This is literally the very last piece of a very large puzzle. :( Other tunnel substitutes would be inappropriate because the terrain was designed to fit the built-in JR MS tunnel portals, which in turn must match with the JR tunnel.

Regards,
Nicholas

In order:

The asset-filename tag can be corrected by changing it to fonts-path.

The two warnings can be ignored although you can add a thumbnail using Asset-X or manually.

The .texture.txt errors can be fixed using Images2TGA in trawl mode.

Just delete the line it's not needed and obsolete, AssetX also deletes it. Changing it to fonts-path will create a future error at some future point as there are no fonts involved.

Hi Shane, thank you (so much) for your advice. I had totally forgotten about IMG2TGA, figured out how to work it after some prodding, then proceeded to switch the istunnel tag and was able to put in the last two tunnels. I'm too tired to fix the warnings. Regardless, they look great, and I can finally go to sleep in peace.

At long last, it is finally, properly, complete.

Cheerio,
Nicholas
