Well, technically correct, they did get them from Penn Central, but they did have 25 of them at startup in 1976. 25 SD-9s numbered 6900-6924. Apparently, they didn't like them, though, as they were written out a decade later.

ITS A DIFFERENT LOCOMOTIVE ALTOGETHER!!!

Also, yes I have to be a BNSF hater, WHO CARES?

EDIT: Also, the 3 pack of ES44DC's has white steps, the single unit doesn't.
It is and it isn't. It would definitely have it's own set of trucks made for the addition air cylinders and such and also knowing JR Justin would probably tweak the engine spec to reflect the changes but besides the trucks I'm pretty sure the C4 an 44AC are virtually identical as far as the train body goes.

Clean versions of the CSX SD40-2 and GP30.

SD80mac's in: Conrail with CSX patch, Conrail with NS patch, and CSX YN2.

Seaboard System GP40, GP30, SD40, and C30-7.

NS Ex Conrail GP40, GP30, and SD40.

Conrail with CSX/NS patched, GP30, GP40, and SD40.

I'm sure plenty of these have already been suggested, but my main desire would be a bunch of new F40PH/etc!
Newer MBTA (the sort of lightning-ish pattern, for example, as well as the small mesh changes), Amtrak NPCUs, some Ex-Amtraks... you get the picture, it's such a hugely popular locomotive.

hey i have a question. can you guys do an sd30-2 please. its just like an sd40-2 but with the sd30-2 where the sd40-2 is to be. the bn guys did a bad thing to one of the locos -inprr
