Sunlight and shadows in Rain

Is there anyway to remove sunlight and shadows when it is heavily raining? I have looked at environment but can't seem to prevent sun shadows when it is raining. Is it something to do with the clouds you choose to use?

No unfortunately, - it's because N3V decided that they weren't making a weather simulator and didn't put any time into making a convincing job of it.
The best weather effects for Trainz were back in TS2012.

Such a pity. Perhaps they might work on this. It does effect realism.
