Summer's Here!

hello, all. chris here.

since school's over, most if not all of us already know where we're going & what we're doing this summer. I plan on going to Hershey Park this summer, hanging out with some of my friends from school, and, of course.... playing Trainz! So, what're all of you doing? post it here!

I am cleaning out the dust from my desktop PC and fans, reapplying heat sink grease, and installing a flexible duct taped tube from my air conditioner vent, and blowing a small fan on the innards to keep things cool.

I'm up at my Dad's mom's place (my grandmother) because her husband, my Granddad, just passed away Sunday afternoon. Having the funeral tomorrow then heading back home Thursday in time to get ready for work the next day.

i'm sorry for your loss. i wish you the best, jordon.

Thanks. I'm closer to my grandmother on my mom's side of the family because of several reasons: 1. My grandmother on my dad's side of the family is allergic to cats, which we have several of, so they can't come to our house. 2. It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from our house, which means that we have to drive up to their place. 3. Since my dad was an only child, the house has just two bedrooms, me, my dad, my mom and my sister all have to sleep in the same room. Fortunately my Grandmom has two inflatable mattresses that me and my sister use both of them. Luckily, my mom had a sister, so there's three bedrooms and a couch that folds out into a bed, meaning we are all able to fit in there with out me having to sleep with my sister (or anyone else).

Summer? We have just started our Winter. Today is a beautiful clear day, 24C. Nights around 9C.
With the way the world's weather patterns are changing, blink and we will miss winter altogether.
Looking forward to our spring, (northern Autum or Fall) when we jet away for a Mediterranean cruise.

Thats good maintenance, and I love the tube, but does an air conditioning vent really deliver cool air in Antarctica or are you just using it for additional air motion or filtered air?

En route to Native American Reservation Rosebud in Mission, SD for a church mission trip. We're a few hours outside of Sioux City now.

End of July I head up to Michigan Technological University for a summer camp for Rail as Intermodal transportation, including seeing seeing iron ore docks served by CN and going around CN and UP railyards.

August is band camp for Loy Norrix.

Hoping to get around to buy an old car an fixing it up. Anybody got a 69-74 Nova, Chevelle, or Impala they'd like to sell? :hehe:

Ah, luxuries. I then clicked on the post to find that my signature was being attacked. at 800x100 it fits physical size wise, and at 8kb it fits into the 30kb limit. I then clicked on Zelda's. His is 17kB too big.

Nice to see the wannabe police force of the forums are doing their job catastrophically badly. Speaking of wannabe, his is 145kb...
