Such a thing as PBR track w/ballast?

This might be a dumb question, but are there PBR track w/ballast choices so that I don't have to turn the shader to basic? If so, what are they because a search doesn't give me anything.

Yes there are track assets with PBR ballast, and you are correct, they are not always easy to find.

Do a search using Content Manager with the following filters:-
Name: PBR
Category: Track

Delete the Installed: filter (if it is present).

Found and tried the DMT, but it really didn't work well. Sometimes it looked great, but other times it was blending in or being over-run with the PBR texture beneath it. Sigh.
Thank for the info though!

Just wish I could make it work because I have the power on this machine to run it, but just can't get it to look right.

Have you tried "JR US track (pro) #4-132 (narrow ballast)" <kuid2:523:19723987>? It's a built-in which I've been using recently and works very well with PBR textures.

I am not sure what you may be doing wrong, but I seem to have no problem with the track. I use it all over my route and I use PBR textures.

I tried the JR US track Pro as you suggested. It is definitely better than the DMT track, but still not great. I guess I will just stay with what I have been using and keep the shader to the minimum. Thanks for the reply though!

What happens is this: hovering just a little above the train, everything looks pretty good. But, looking out from the front of the train, the ballast is very "blocky":m not smooth at all. And, if I hover further above the train, any track further than a very short distance away disappears: I can see another train 1/10 of a baseboard away, but there is no track under it! And that is with the Shader one step above the minimum.

I'm using these two which don't seem to have a problem when viewing them

YES!! That works great even with shader set to Ultra! Gotta try your other suggestion as well as those in the other post by MSGSapper. What a difference! Thanks to all who replied!
