SUCCESS - Let the Fun Begin

Thanks to all of you for bearing with me and my expressed frustrations over the past few days.

This evening I was able to get a good download of SP1 for TRS2006. The downloading stopped a number of times but I was able to keep resuming it and actually got pretty good download speed at times.

I reinstalled TRS2006 following the instructions to a T. I then applied SP1 again following the instructions to a T. My TRS2006 now works great. I went into CMP and downloaded the Trolley Museum and a couple of trams. I had no problem with downloading from the Download Station. Brought the Trolley Museum into Surveyor and got the tram onto the tracks and was able to drive it around the layout. Excellent.

So let the fun begin. And if he wants to the forum modertaor can delete my earlier frustration threads from the forum.

hey trolley driver you should also check out FCT, its $10 for a whole year and it increas an avarage 4Kbps to a monstorus 250Kbps-450Kbps , its right under the DLS page, just scroll down on the DLS page and you see it.

Now that I have TRS2006 working properly I found some time to do some investigating of the program, available content, tutorials, etc., etc. All that I can say is WOW!!! I feel like a complete idiot for some of the bad things I said earlier. I beg forgivenss. This is a great sim program and everyone out there has done a tremendous job of extending the program through custom content. Thanks.
