Tume, there is one mistake on the CLRV. The destination sign a the rear of the streetcar should only show the route number and not the destination.

Nice pics guys!

321, I like that tunnel! You intend on releasing it? Could see that on my New York City-esque layout. Just wonderin'

Hallo busutakos,

yes, you are right – thank you very much for your help. I changed all the destination textures to be able to change the rear destination sign the way to indicate the route number only.
I should have considered this at the first time – please don’t ask me why I did not do so :-)

Also the CLRV now has got changeable running numbers. In addition to this, I was able to “pixle” some details out of several photos. Using this, I created texture details to add the maintenance service flaps onto the grey painted lower part of the car.
Still the CLRV needs to get a view more details at its inner side – especially the air grills in the middle of the interior roof. Unfortunately I could not find any photos suitable to get texture for this detail at the internet – but I will keep searching :-)

Adverts for the CLRVs

Hallo,

after some investigations, I attempt to work out some adverts for the CLRVs. There are a lot of photos available in the internet but unfortunately not suitable to work out advert texture of a quality like requiered. Therefore I had to search for the advert pictures elsewhere then at CLRV sites. But the most of the advert pictures seems to be created especially for streetcar and bus advertising and so it is hard to find the same pictures at other locations in the net.
Eventually I found a nice "District 9" picture, which could be seen in the streets of Toronto at the side of CLRVs. The other two pictures have been worked out from a subway advertisment. Per haps such adverts once could be seen the the CLRVs as well, but eventually I dont know.

If anybody can tell me something which should be fixed, please do not hesitate to do so.

Note: This time I take the screens out of TS2010 rather than at TC3 like the CLRV screens before.

Ooops - as I saw right now, I did not tipe some running numbers in as I was about to set up the route numbers and the destinations.
:hehe:

A lot of the buildings are from sketchup; don't ask if they can be released because I don't intend to release them at the time being.

Very impressive work

Can't say that's not one of the most impressive city screenshots i've yet to see in trainz, because it's definitely a very impressive collection of screenshots...:)

Wow, that's simply STUNNING! :udrool:

Really captures an urban look and feel.

BTW, what is the pointed skyscraper in the background in pics #2 and #4, behind the CITI building? Looks like a Philly skyscraper.

It is the Prudential Plaza bldg. I think that its apart of Liberty Plaza in Philly(as you pointed out)

I actually REMOVED a lot of the scrapers, because most Spanish/Latin/Mediterrnean cities I know of aren't that dense when it comes to skyscrapers.

I agree, your screens looks very nice – keep going your good work. Could I ask where you have got all the skyscrapers from? I would like to see how these buildings would fit into my City Project.

:)

Thank you very much.

@TUME: They are, believe it or not, models from Sketchup's 3D Warehouse. At the moment I don't intend on releasing any of them. Google warehouse seems to have a fairly liberal policy, from what I googled, in regards to using one's models. As long as they are not used for commercial purposes. There are numerous objects from Sketchup already on the DLS. Prime example is NAmenta's Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal. I'm actually using that on my Surfliner project. Can't recall any others at the moment though.

I have, in the scene:

Flatiron bldg - New York City
Prudential plz - Philadelphia
Arch of Emperor Constantine the Great - Rome
Radisson Hotel & Suites - Forgit
25 Canada Sq(CitiBank) - London(Canary Wharf?)
Chicago Exchange Plaza - Chicago
Los Angeles MTA - Los Angeles
181 Madison Av - New York City
