I agree, when I was purchasing model RR stuff years ago I bought about 100 bucks worth of stuff. They charged the account about 5 times that and over drew the account...Then refused to pay for the fees that accumulated because of the screw up. Then the bank got in contact with them and magically they refunded the money and paid the fees. Which is why after the 2nd time with the prepaid credit card I will never even attempt to use it again.Paypal is probably one of the shadiest operations on the net, and I'm taking into account Nigerian princes. Watch them like a hawk.
I've been using Paypal for years on Ebay, Amazon & a few other sites that use it, but I've never had any problems with
them, in fact, they have recovered money from 1 dodgy dealer in the USA, as well as from a seller here in the UK who didn't
tell the truth about what he was selling.
"Paypal is probably one of the shadiest operations on the net, and I'm taking into account Nigerian princes. Watch them like a hawk."
Absolute nonsense.
It's my preferred method of payment over the Internet. I've never had any problems and I certainly regard PayPal as a more secure means of payment than giving all my credit card details to some unknown stranger on the far side of the globe.
In fact I'm now at the point where if a retailer will not accept PayPal I go to someone else who will.
