Stupid DLS!

For some reason, I get this message whenever I try to download more in the Download Helper:

Download cannot continue as you have downloaded your 100MB quota today.

But I know that's not true becuase I have an FCT that doesn't expire until April 14, 2014. I tried the extended database repair, but for some reason, that didn't even work!!

Can somebody please help me out?!

There are reports of a server issue at the moment, so I'd advise not downloading at this point in time until N3V can confirm what is going on.

You can try changing your profile password through Planet Auran though, but make sure Trainz is not running whilst doing it.

Tried the second, but still I get the same.

You may be best waiting a few hours so N3V can sort out whatever the server is up to, as it may not be picking up your FCT properly.

I would not call it poor support. What you have to remember is that it is the week-end. A PM to a mod would be sufficient i think.

I wouldn't call it poor support either. N3V, like many companies of that type, works Monday to Friday. When things happen on the weekend, N3V cannot deal with them until Monday morning.

Good Evening
This generally occurs if Content Manager was not initially able to access out servers when you loaded Content Manager. This will generally solve itself after 24 hours, however if you do see this message, then please try running a 'quick database repair'. This will force Content Manager to update the download permissions/quota based on your account.

You shouldn't need to clear the download queue before running the quick database repair, however I would recommend doing so to ensure the download permissions fully update.

To run a Quick Database Repair, please first open Content Manager, then click on 'file', then 'run quick database repair'.

Note, for TS2010 and TS12 we do not recommend an Extended Database Repair, as it may actually prevent CM from solving the issue for up to 24 hours, since it may reset your download permissions in CM.

As to 'poor support', please keep in mind that it is currently the weekend, and that we do not respond to helpdesk tickets during the weekend. Unfortunately, we are a small company, and as such resources are limited. We may look into this in future, however at this time it is simply not viable to be able to provide responses to helpdesk tickets during the weekend.

Zec how about the other server binging down again all week end?
Is there anything you can do about that?
I got 12 because I wanted to play MP but every time I spend hours in it the server go down.
NOW it time for N3V to fix it.

Good Morning Danny5
I do not have any control over the servers, I can only report issues to our admin. However, as it is the weekend, it can take some time for him to look into it. We are looking into this, however it will take some time to find a fix for the repeated server outages.

Zec, I think you need to edit your post, I don't think you meant to type the bit I've underlined. :D
