Street Curbing

So in my part of the US, these types of curbs are on the streets, highways, residential streets, and parking lots. I've not seen anything like this on the DLS. Am I wrong?

None that I have seen !
But I would point out that the ground or grass cannot be brought up level to the top of the curbing !
Maybe you could use a Grass Spline to achieve that effect ?

I see what you are saying. I saw tonight on the freeware page, a guy built railway trenches that sit below ground level. I didn't know if that could be used here. I wish like crap I could learn to build these types of assets. I hate begging creators for stuff like this. I just do not know where to start.

There are sidewalk splines that have a vertical edge that could be used to simulate this effect, but no grass splines with a curb.

Easy enough to make for a creator, just add the grass to the road plus kerb and angle it downwards, if you use a texture that matches or is a close match to a ground texture it doesn't look bad at all, pretty much as I do with some of my road splines, except the ones with grass edges don't have kerbs, the plus is it solves the issue of floating roads or horrible looking sides to them which produce shadows in TANE which looks odd, while keeping the road surface at the right height for traffic.

I have some grass splines that might do the trick under CL Grass Edge. they are not flat but raised slightly in the middle so can be butted up to things like roads!

I can't believe it would be that hard to create, but there again, I'm asking for something I know nothing about. I have an entire group of assets for streets and highways in my head, but they are doing me no good there. I can learn to do this, but like I said, I don't know where to start. Information for creating Trainz assets is spotty at best.
