Anywhere SP

Those are great scenes evilcrow. (Looks like a lot of guys are keeping a wary eye on the two Fedora hat wearing detectives), and I like the locomotives. Horace Feathers made those really cool Trainz videos he used SP locomotives and filled us in on oil burning steam engines. Hoping I did not butcher Horace's name.

Cheers, evilcrow

Great pictures evilcrow. SP's Keeler Branch has always fascinated me. Out of curiosity, is this a publicly available route?

Hi everyone, I'm finally back. Some of you may remember I retired and moved to the Philippines and I'm in the process of building a home. The computer room just got finished this week and I was able to setup my rig and stoke the boiler and get her running Trainz 22 again. During my downtime I managed to find a unicorn I've be hoping to find. Without any more waste of time here are my return screenshots.

The railfan couldn't believe his eyes, but just as his sources told him, there shining in the morning sun sat the Chessie's new locomotive. The C&O has been running the Chessie with their handsome L-1 Hudsons, but today the company's newest locomotive the M-1 steam turbine will be taking the eastbound Chessie from Cincinnati to Washington D.C. this morning. The railfan and his helpers are placed to "chase the kitten" as they call it. Let the chase begin.

We're High Balling!
Old number 34, the pride of the C&L showing us she still is a high stepper despite 43 years of service. (1906 - 1949)

#34 the 4-8-0 Mastodon coming over the last trestle before Bear Tussle & the lumber mill waiting on those high dollar logs. Please see our General Freight Agent to get the 'High Balling' service you deserve for your high dollar freight!

Thank you for sharing these shots! I hope we may see this beauty available in the future?

Have always loved the M1 and would love to run her in the game.

The Railfan caught the daily Cincinnati Gas & Electric train coming through the "bottoms" of Cincinnati on its way to the power plant.

The crew has just entered the bottoms.

My-Trainz-Screenshot-Image.jpg

As the train rumbles through the bottoms the engine crew looks above them along the viaduct to see if they're ahead of any of the New York Central trains coming into town. Clear signal ahead is a good sign.

Passing the NYC trackage a.k.a "the slide" due to the grade coming down from their hill hugging track along the Ohio river.

The coal train should be clearing the passenger heavy tracks as the suits get huffy if any of the company's passenger trains are delayed. If the earlier tracks are busy with passenger trains the dispatcher will route the train straight through the bottoms for so good old fashion street running.

Theres CG&E's rotary dump in the background. After the crew empties the train, they'll take the empty train west to the Lawrenceburg yards and with luck try and catch another train coming back home.
