Idling at Cheyenne, Union Pacific's brand new P-10 Pacific #2897 prepares for her journey over Sherman Hill circa 1921.

Many years later, we spot #2897 as she makes one of her runs over Sherman Hill with help from UP #2295 in 1956.

I've fallen in love with ProtoClinchfield by kdshanks (available on TrainzProRoutes)



But one problem with the route is that there is no place to add water and coal for steam engines (and at over 70 miles you need to) so I added some;

I'll probably add one or two more further south and I guess I'll get the diesel pumps and sand towers working eventually.

That's real nice Don, it is standard gauge isn't it? I've got BenDorsey's narrow gauge pile drivers but they're a bit dated. While there is a fair amount of maintenance equipment for the early steam era it is always good to see more. I like your use of the support beams doubling as a ladder.
