Steam engines fire door

Hi All,

Noob to trainz here. I just installed trains 2012 and it auto updated during my last session. I played the west bound coal session that is provided in game today. Noticed that when i hit space to add coal to the fire the door opens as it should, however I can not close it. The mouse does not work, im not sure if there is a keyboard shortcut for this?


Anyone have a fix or experiencing this?

From the keyboard.txt file:
train_cabin_firebox_door_toggle ..... KP1, KPEnd, end

I think this will work on most steam locos unless a custom script intercepts the firebox_door_toggle key stroke and uses it for something else. Also know as the "pantograph key" but obviously not when applied to steam locos.

There's currently a bug in TS12 that effects the bounding box for grabbing controls in the cab with the mouse. I think there are work arounds - you might find some more info on it elsewhere in the forums. Hopefully a couple more patches and they'll have it working again.
